Marcus Raute returns to Colour In Music in 2023 with his fresh 'Day & Night' EP full of house tunes. We are happy to have him with us once again.
The last appearance of our italian talent was in 2022's Errol.ex 'Tuning' EP' with an amazing remix.

'Do What You Want ' opens the release, and right from the start we're locked into the groove thanks to a funky bass and smooth pad opening doing the propper intro into the track.
Nice melodic keys and sounds, chooped voices here and there building the vibe.
Wonderfully constructed deep house vibes with a disco touch.

For 'Do What You Want' remix duty we have DJ Simi! Born and raised in Napoli (Naples, Italy), the cherry on the top of this EP for sure.
Simi's touch is notorious at the first 4 bars. He picks the original elements and gives them a nice round shape. Trippy chord pads contrast with soft keys as the vocal delivers the narrative.

'Night Bar' starts with a nice chunky kick drum and warm chord.
Jazz vibes, cool voices talking, without loosing the Detroit touch.
Strings during the breaks, jacking groove with infeccious strong keys while the track goes on and on, doing an amazing crescendo.
This is Marcus Raute's pure style.
